Main Article Content
Abstract
Sinar Usaha, a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Tabongo Timur Village, Gorontalo Regency, faces limitations in digital skills and market access despite its potential for sacha inchi agroindustrial development. This community engagement program aimed to improve digital literacy, develop a website and QRIS payment facilities, strengthen marketing, and diversify sacha inchi-based products. Conducted from May to September 2026, the program employed a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach involving 25 participants in needs assessment, training, technology implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. Data were collected through pre- and post-training assessments, focus group discussions, observations, sales records, and website analytics. The results showed an increase in average digital literacy achievement from 15% to 85%, representing a gain of 70 percentage points. Sacha inchi oil sales volume increased from 165 to 365 bottles (121.2%) across three comparable observation periods before and after the program, while website traffic averaged 150 visits per month. Product diversification introduced four new products, expanding the portfolio from two to six product types (200%). Integrating digital technology, local food innovation, and participatory empowerment offers potential for strengthening business capacity and village economic institutions.
