The settlement environment must be provided with facilities such as health facilities, education, worship, government and offices. Good facilities can have a positive influence on people's lives in terms of economy, education, social, culture. This is what prompted us to conduct research on the feasibility of facilities, Limba U II Village, South City District, Gorontalo City. The method used in this study is the data collection method and data analysis method. The analytical descriptive method is used to collect primary and secondary data. The results of the study after analysis based on 8 aspects of facilities identified that there were problems in each aspect, namely the lack of handling, especially in waste processing.

Keywords: Analysis; Settlement; Limba U II; Facility Standards.
2025-07-18T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 JARI: Journal of Architecture, Research and Innovation https://ejurnal.unisan.ac.id/index.php/jari/article/view/1582 Refleksi Arsitektur Vernakular Pada Bangunan Bantayo Pobo'ide Di Kabupaten Gorontalo 2025-07-06T12:23:09+00:00 Rahmawati Eka raheka9187@gmail.com Adam Supu risalsupu077@gmail.com Lutfiah Dwi Arini lutfiahdwiarini@gmail.com
The Bantayo Poboide traditional house is an important symbol of Gorontalo culture. In the social structure and traditional government of the Gorontalo people, this house is not only used as a residence or meeting hall, but also as a representation of noble values that are inherited from generation to generation. The name Bantayo Poboide comes from two words in the Gorontalo language, namely "bantayo" which means building or house, and "poboide" which means a place for deliberation. Architecturally, Bantayo Poboide is built in the style of a stilt house, made entirely of wood with a structure that reflects traditional philosophy. The purpose of this study is to identify the elements of vernacular architecture in Bandayo poboide. The study was conducted at the Bantayo Poboide Traditional House, Kayu Bulan Village, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency. This study uses a qualitative method, data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Bantayo Poboide is a real example of Gorontalo vernacular architecture that is not only adaptive to the environment and climate, but also reflects the cultural, social, and spiritual values of its people. Its wood-based architecture, gable roofs, and stilt houses are evidence of the harmony between humans and nature. The symbolism and structure of the building make Bantayo Poboide a very valuable cultural heritage.
2025-07-18T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 JARI https://ejurnal.unisan.ac.id/index.php/jari/article/view/1617 Analisis Tingkat Pencahayaan Alami Pada Ruang Rusunawa Di Pohuwato 2025-07-16T03:41:23+00:00 Moh Eran erhanfikha@gmail.com
2025-07-18T01:16:44+00:00 Nurmiah Nurmiah mianurmiah271@gmail.com Indriani Umar indriumar0812@gmail.com
By raising one case of observation of the coastal settlements of Marisa River and Delo Lake in Gorontalo which are very unique and quite complex, this is due to its demographic characteristics, diversity of land functions and morphological structure of its building patterns. However, as a result of the heavy burden of the environment/area and the complexity of existing activities, there is a conflict of interest that creates degradation of buildings and the environment along with its environmental infrastructure, so that the development process gives rise to many conflicts of interest. The gap in government supervision, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, low control of water and sanitation, low coordination and placement between public and private buildings further add to the chaos of problems that lead to environmental decline. This study aims to describe the spatial patterns and characteristics of housing and settlements on the coast of Marisa River and Delo Lake and explain the factors that cause and influence them. A descriptive qualitative approach with observation methods, namely observing the entire residential area and then determining the spatial boundaries of house groups. Data are analyzed with reference to theories and conditions that strengthen the findings. The results of the study show that first, the pattern created between houses and roads is that houses grow in groups following the road with the orientation of the houses to the road facing each other and back to back. The pattern of houses along the river grows longitudinally or linearly, following the physical conditions of the environment bounded by the river. Overall, the spatial pattern of housing and settlements along the lakeshore forms an organic pattern that grows increasingly westward, approaching Lake Delo. Factors influencing this pattern include nature (climate), the social environment, and the physical conditions of the surrounding environment.
2025-07-18T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 JARI https://ejurnal.unisan.ac.id/index.php/jari/article/view/1620 Pola Hunian Suku Bajo Di Desa Torosiaje Laut Kabupaten Pohuwato Provinsi Gorontalo 2025-07-19T15:53:40+00:00 Satar Saman satarsaman68@gmail.com Amru Siola amru.ars@unisan.ac.id
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 JARI
