Abstract
In Indonesia itself, the design of electrical installations is regulated in the General Electrical Installation Regulations (PUIL) of 2011. In these regulations it is clear how to install a good and correct electrical installation, which is the standard for electrical installations in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to design electrical installations in buildings in accordance with the 2011 PUIL Standard, determine the specifications for components and security needed, determine the amount of power used for submitting electricity subscriptions to PT. PLN (Persero). The building electrical system planning method uses predetermined standards, namely General Regulations for Electrical Installation (PUIL) 2011 and SNI for energy conservation in lighting systems 2011. The results of the calculation obtained a current of 80.16 amperes, so that the main MCB limiter is selected with a capacity of 100 Amperes. To submit an electrical power connection service to PT. PLN (Persero) which is equal to 22,000 VA with a limiter of 100 Ampere MCB. Total Maximum Current is 100 Ampere and KHA value is 125 Ampere, the type and cross-sectional area of the cable selected for the main cable based on PUIL 2011 is NYM 3 x 35 mm2.
