Ownership and Management Policy

Provider Jurnal Ilmu Pemerintahan (PROJIP) is published, maintained, and operated under the institutional support of Program Studi Ilmu Pemerintahan, Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo.

  • Technical & Dissemination Support: Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo supplies the digital infrastructure, server hosting, digital preservation frameworks, and Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform maintenance (https://ejurnal.unisan.ac.id/index.php/projip).
  • Editorial Administration: Day-to-day manuscript processing, reviewer coordination, copyediting, proofreading, and production schedules are managed directly by the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and the designated Editorial Board members.
  • Decision-Making Independence: Manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection decisions are governed strictly by scholarly merit and double-blind peer-review outcomes, as articulated in the journal's Editorial Roles and Review Policy.
  1. Organizational Accountability and Editorial Independence

Program Studi Ilmu Pemerintahan and Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo are accountable for providing the operational continuity, administrative support, and technical resources needed for regular issue publication.

Institutional ownership does not confer any authority to university administrators, faculty executives, or department leaders to influence manuscript decisions. The editorial team operates with strict autonomy:

  • Submissions from faculty members, university leaders, or editorial board members of Universitas Ichsan Gorontalo are managed with explicit firewall protocols (blinded to internal editors) to prevent conflicts of interest.
  • Editorial evaluations are insulated entirely from commercial, political, or institutional considerations.

The academic affiliations listed alongside editors and reviewers reflect their primary scholarly institutions. Such listings do not indicate institutional co-ownership, financial liability, or official endorsement of the journal by those external bodies.

Any formal institutional partnership, academic society collaboration (e.g., associations of government/political science scholars), or co-sponsorship affecting journal governance will be formally documented, explicitly disclosed on the journal’s website, and updated regularly.

Any material changes in ownership, journal leadership, editorial management structures, or hosting arrangements will be updated promptly on this page and recorded in the OJS announcement log. Notices of substantive governance modifications will disclose the nature of the transition, organizational details, and the effective implementation date.
